Food Drive
Every year at Christmas, the
members of Westfield FMBA #30 runs an annual
food drive for the needy families.
Non-Perishable food items are collected at fire
headquarters the firefighters assemble the donated
food items into care packages. With the assistance
of local houses of worship, the packages are given
to needy families in the area for the Christmas
holiday.
In 2002 the residents of Westfield
donated much needed items to the cause, IN 2002,
although this is a big help it does not make up all
the boxes. The residents were able to complete 50
boxes, the remaining 85 boxes were donated by the
FMBA.
